Electric Brixton, SW2 1RJ , [Venue Details]The Revelação Group began its career in 1994, in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. In 1997, music producer Bira Haway appreciated the group’s samba sessions and decided to launch them on the music market.
For more than a decade, the group released successful albums throughout Brazil, such as “Revelação”; “Virou Religião”; “Ao Vivo No Olimpo”, which sold over 800 thousand copies of CDs, placing the group among the great national artists; “Novos Tempos”; “Ao Vivo – Na Palma da Mão”; “Velocidade da Luz”; “Aventureiro” and the DVD “Ao Vivo No Morro”, recorded in Morro da Urca in 2009.
In 2011, in a partnership between Deck Disc and the record label Universal, they released “Ao Vivo no Morro da Urca 2”, following up on the magical “Revelação 360 Graus”.
